Mobile billboards carrying both a "Winning" and a "Dining" message targeted the University of Michigan, Michigan State Univeristy and Western Michigan University campuses earlier this month to draw football fans to Michigan's newest gaming center in Battle Creek, FireKeepers Casino. The brand new casino features slots, table games and a variety of resturants.
In addition to the mobile billboard trucks, tailgaters were greeted by enthusiastic brand ambassadors giving away free decks of playing cards with a $15.00 red hot credit coupon attached. The brand ambassadors hopped on and off Ad-Scooters personally reaching hundreds of football fans with these hand-outs as they tailgated prior to the big game.
While this was all taking place, a giant aerial billboard banner flew overhead with the FireKeepers Casino message before the start of the game. Football fans could not miss the FireKeepers Casino message on the road with mobile billboards, at the sidewalk level with scooter billboards, or in the air with an aerial banner flying in the sky.
No other medium could have reached this sports-minded audience at the same place and same time as mobile billboard advertising, scooter advertising and aerial advertising.
